CCN Again Sponsors Charity 5K Race for Clean Water

At the First Friday Book Synopsis at the Park City Club this week, we are Running4CleanWaterLogo2017again sponsoring a great charity cause:  Running 4 Clean Water.
 
Creative Communication Network again is a sponsor of this race to build wells in Sierra Leone, Africa, where more than 9,000 people a day die due to lack of access to fresh water.  Last year, we donated over $1,900 to this cause.
 
The CCN running team brought home four medals, including three first-place finishes in their age category.
 
This is our charity focus for the April FFBS.   Donations will be solicited and accepted.  A donation card will be at each person’s place at your table.

Ready for Running Again? Our April FFBS Charity

Running4CleanWaterLogo2017Again this year, Creative Communication Network is a major sponsor of a charitable endeavor, which is Running 4 Clean Water.  At the April First Friday Book Synopsis, we will solicit and accept tax-deductible contributions.

Last year, our event donated over $1,900 to the charity.  The proceeds from the race go directly to building wells in Sierra Leone, Africa, where over 9,000 people per day die because of the lack of clean water!

The actual 5K race is on Saturday, April 29, at O’Banion Middle School in Garland.  The school’s address is 700 Birchwood Drive, Garland, Texas 75043.  The race starts at 8:30 a.m.  That race is followed a fun 1K race.   We are looking for interested runners to be a part of the CCN team this year.  R4CW2016CCNTeam Pictured is our 2016 running team, along with Karl J. Krayer, President of CCN.  Four of the runners won medals for one of the fastest times in their respective divisions.

Our April First Friday Book Synopsis features our first charity sponsorship of the year.

For the third consecutive year, Creative Communication Network is a silver-level sponsor of Running 4 Clean Water, scheduled for Saturday, April 23.  Did you know that 9,129 people a day die because they do not have access to safe water?

Last year, we gathered more than $1,000 at the book synopsis for this event.  And, our sponsored runner finished 2nd place in the 5K race.
