The New York Times has published its list of best-selling business books for July, 2024 — The Singularity is Nearer, Atomic Habits, & others…

The New York Times has published its list of best-selling business books for July, 2024.

Yes, Atomic Habits is still at the top spot. The Singularity is Nearer

But, a significant new book has landed on this month’s list:  The Singularity is Nearer by Ray Kurzweil.  Mr. Kurzweil, inventor and futurist, published his earlier book, The Singularity is Near, in 2005. Much of what he “predicted” has arrived, even ahead of his predicted schedule. This books says that the Singularity is “nearer,” and we are about to see some truly amazing changes; mostly for the better…

I seldom read much of any book from this list that I am not then preparing to present.  But I jumped ahead on this one.  I started reading immediately.  I plan to present my synopsis of this book at the September First Friday Book Synopsis.  I can’t wait!

Of the ten books on this list, I have already presented synopses of four of the ten:  Atomic Habits, The Creative Act, Dare to Lead, andSupercommunicators.  So, afer September’s presentation of The Singularity is Nearer, I will have prensented one half of the books on this month’s list.
